In the attached ISEC presentation from August 2017, the Lake Matthew Team and ISEC director Dr. Martin Lades have sketched a conceptual “Omaha Trail” to Lake Matthew, Mars. The Omaha Trail is conceived as a high-efficiency transport system. It cuts cargo propellant requirement, cargo launches, and crew radiation exposure en route to Earth, reducing each by more than 80%, relative to reference metrics.
